Our Pillars



Plan, prepare and execute a proven well renowned successful international football Methodology to develop all our football players to achieve ultimate success through our UEFA A and Pro licensed full time Technical Director. To have the ability to develop every player within the club regardless of their skill level.

Have access to a world leading all weather synthetic training facilities with lighting that are fit for purpose and allows to incorporate community expansion integration and engagement. To plan and support the growth of the club. To partner with local government to achieve these outcomes.



Participation Programs

Programs that are tailored to introduce, recruit, transition and retain participants in our game. Implement Villarreal’s successful and proven world renowned Methodology to our players from our mini roos to our juniors and senior programs. To service the community within Monash City Council and surrounding LGA’s in remaining a community based club.


Provide a pathway for our juniors to transition into our senior programs.


Participation is open to all members within the community


Coaches will also be educated by the TD through access lesson plans and Villarreal’s coaching philosophies.


To work closely and offer access to the same training methodology to schools within the municipality community that would like to enhance their football programs.


Commercial Growth Administration and Governance


Drive Commercial growth and innovation through a diverse portfolio of events, partnerships and products through the club through good governance.


Ensure financial stability of the club is achieved through accurate financial reporting to all stakeholders.


Streamline the planning process for every year to improve on effectiveness and outcomes.

Key Targets 2020 - 2021



To have become a destination club with an increase in membership numbers with 3 teams in every age group in the mini roos from U7-U11 programs. 2-3 teams in every age group from a junior level from U12-U16. Within every age group there will be a representation of teams playing in the ‘A’ competition and a development team.



The senior program to incorporate the U18, U20 and seniors and reserves teams. The Senior team to be competing within State League 2 by 2022.



The introduction of a senior womens team to be playing within the Womens State League Competition. The introduction of girls only football teams.



2 x Full Time Technical Director’s and accredited coaches across every age group and teams.



Facility Development – Synthetic Pitches at Argyle Reserve or Caloola Reserve. Lighting Projects to be implemented and completed.



The Villarreal Player pathway identified and players from Villarreal Melbourne FC training with the academy and pro teams within Villarreal academies in Spain.
